Meet the competitors – Jeffrey Otten and Nicky Zoontjens

In a series of blog posts we will introduce competitors who shared their experience at Rallye Breslau or other event of RBI Sport in the interview.

1) Who are you?

My name is Jeffrey Otten (35) and I am the driver in our team. Nicky Zoontjens (39) is the co-driver. We drive in the SSV Cross Country.

We drive with our own team Gaia Motorsports and we use service from QFF from the Netherlands.

2) How did it start with your off-road passion?

We both did little bit of Enduro racing on a motorbike. In 2020 we started with the SSV buggy and Breslau was our first Rallye we drive.

3) When was your first participation at Rallye Breslau? Share your experience.

The Breslau was our first rally, our first experience with driving a buggy/SSV. We drive in the Cross Country Category.

4) What is your vehicle?

We have a Can Am maverick X3

5) What is special about Rallye Breslau?

Very nice stages and good organization.

Rallye Breslau was our first rally , we did good and won the night stage! Overall 15^th position.

6) What are your next rally plans?

We want to drive the Africa Eco Race, Fenix Rally 2021, Rallye Breslau 2021 of course and a few smaller rallies. After that we want to drive Dakar.
